Working for our Tailormade products, it’s an exciting time to join our team as we are on our growth projection. This role would enable an established marketeer to create engaging online customer experiences whilst supporting in the development and refinement of Tailormade products. Working closely with the Head of Digital and other on/offline marketers, this role will assist in delivering high quality web layouts and content across our Tailormade brands (Sovereign.com and Citalia.com).
Currently, we are all working from home and we will be following government guidelines as we gradually return to the offices. This role will be based in our Crawley office and the expectation is that we will follow a mixed model moving forward. [Expected 2 days a week in our Crawley office, 3 days a week remote].
What you will be doing
Managing content creation and governance within our CMS (Sitecore).
Using data to continually review and evolve online journeys and experiences
Supporting the business with their CRO activity, a well as activities such as QA testing
Ownership of content planning / workflows
Web page creation (for marketing campaigns and product teams) as well as maintaining existing pages.
Using data, UX reviews and customer feedback to make recommendations on improving content on our websites
Developing procedures to manage and prioritise content requests from the business, alongside owned workstreams, to ensure that there is enough resource and capacity to deliver tasks to brief and in a timely manner
SEO application - optimising website content (such as page titles, meta descriptions, H1s, alt text, anchor text), aligning new and existing web copy to SEO best practices whilst ensuring consistent tone of voice. Technical SEO understanding would be advantageous too, to support with CMS changes such as redirects and unpublishing pages.
Testing and analysing the effect of content and site changes using a variety of tools such as Google Analytics and AB Tasty.
Regularly reporting to the business on web performance across conversions and leads, as well as results of testing/monitoring website content experiments or enhancements
Actively collaborating with marketing, product and our commercial teams to ensure focus on promotions and wider marketing campaigns are aligned and visible across the site.
Providing CMS training and support when needed for those in the business who are learning to use the website - ongoing support and mentoring would be required to ensure consistency and quality.
Work with external agencies and internal A/B testing tools (such as ABTasty/Google Optimize) to design and build out test ideas. Where possible shifts in site layout and content shifts should be tested and measured to monitor success and take learnings forwards.
Work closely with the Head of Digital and external agencies/developers to improve upon the site functionality and test new features when deployed.
Conduct competitor analysis – Identify areas where we can improve our current website flow and structure by leveraging competitor insights.
What we are looking for
Our ideal candidate will be ready to use their existing experience in web best practice and content management to ensure web content is accurate, unique, and driving action from our customers. We are looking for someone who will be self-motivated and driven, with a passion for learning and a desire to progress digital marketing career within an innovative and entrepreneurial on-line travel business.
Minimum 3 years digital marketing experience using a CMS (Ideally Sitecore)
Knowledge and experience of content marketing
A good understanding of all aspects of on-site SEO
Excellent copywriting and communication skills
Planning and prioritisation skills
Analytically minded, with experience using Google Analytics or similar platform
Strong time management and organisational skills
A good team player who is also content to work alone
Demonstrate a willingness to take initiative & own responsibilities
Familiarity with other aspects of digital marketing eg CRO, paid search, website design/content
